Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward is drawing plenty of interest ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft. Ward has the Canes in contention for the ACC Championship as well as a spot in the College Football Playoff.
The playmaker's dual threat capabilities to hurt defenses with both his arm and legs has the attention of NFL general managers. Ward is in contention to be one of the first quarterbacks selected in the NFL draft.
Athlon Sports' Luke Easterling believes Ward could be a fit for the Tennessee Titans, who have been relying on former second-round pick Will Levis. But the results have been mixed despite the high expectations for the former Kentucky Wildcats quarterback.
Easterling has the Titans selecting Ward with the No. 3 pick in a Nov. 14 NFL mock draft.
"The Will Levis experiment hasn't gone well in Tennessee, and though the Titans could give him another year to prove himself, it's more likely they try to find his replacement next offseason," Easterling explained.
"Much like (Colorado's Shedeur) Sanders, Ward has some rough edges to smooth out in his game, but he's got impressive arm talent, elite playmaking ability and the kind of 'it' factor you want in your franchise quarterback."
Levis inked a four-year, $9.5 million contract with the Titans that is slated to run through 2026. This gives Tennessee plenty of financial wiggle room to make a quarterback move this offseason.
