The Dallas Cowboys continue to face scrutiny from former players, with many now vocalizing complaints about their time in Dallas. Bringing the subject to light, former tight end Dalton Schultz, who now plays for the Houston Texans, described his experience with the Cowboys’ facilities as feeling like a “zoo.”

Now, other former Cowboys, including Tony Pollard, Dorance Armstrong, Kelvin Joseph, and Dante Fowler Jr., have added their voices to the growing list of players expressing dissatisfaction with their time in Dallas.

"This is more about football, just X's and O's," said Pollard, now with the Tennessee Titans. "I'm in a better place mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, just all around."

Former Cowboy Kelvin Joseph, now with the Colts, echoed similar thoughts.

"Over here [Kansas City] ... the point is the football and winning championships. There [in Dallas], it was a lot of football and like, other stuff." said Joseph.

Even Cowboys safety Jayron Kearse seemed to share these feelings about the constant interruptions at the facility.

"You're on your way to meetings, and you're running into tours. We're here for football," Kearse explained.

However, Cowboys superstar Micah Parsons wasn’t about to let the negative comments go unanswered. Parsons took to social media to address the criticism.

“Sometimes you gotta call bull s*** when you see it! This ain’t it.” wrote Parsons.

Parsons’ response highlights the divide between those who’ve moved on and those still committed to the Cowboys' program. Stadium tours, a hallmark of the Cowboys' marketable brand, have been a point of contention, but for Parsons, this focus on off-the-field issues seems misplaced.

As the Cowboys reel from their Week 6 loss to the Detroit Lions, the negativity surrounding the league’s most marketable franchise continues to grow. However, Parsons’ comments suggest that some players, especially those still in the fold, don’t share these concerns, raising questions about the mindset of those who’ve left. Looking forward, the Cowboys are preparing to face an injury-riddled San Francisco 49ers team in their week 8 matchup as they look to bounce back from a morally defeating loss to the Lions.
