Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons was visibly frustrated on the sidelines Sunday during an eventual 28-25 loss to the Ravens. Cameras captured him arguing with veteran DeMarcus Lawrence as Marshawn Kneeland attempted to calm him down.
It’s not a sight fans want to see as the team has struggled early on this season, especially defensively. Parsons didn’t appear to have cooled off much postgame, as he called out his teammates to the media.
“Same thing,” he told reporters when asked what happened in the loss. “Right now, we just got people trying to be Superman. People just gotta own their jobs. We don’t need any Supermans. We just need 11 guys playing together.”

The Cowboys gave up 274 yards rushing and three touchdowns on the ground Sunday as they were hapless to stop Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson. It marked the second straight loss as the defense also allowed four rushing touchdowns last week in a 44-19 loss to the Saints.
Unfortunately, Micah Parsons wasn’t the only Cowboys player to be seen yelling at his teammates in Sunday’s loss. Cameras also caught receiver CeeDee Lamb in an argument with quarterback Dak Prescott.
It’s the type of locker room dysfunction you never want to see this early on in the season. The Cowboys have received their fair share of criticism over the years for failing to deliver in the postseason, but had still managed to win 12 games each of the past three seasons.
However, the early losses combined with the behavior from both Lamb and Parsons — who are two of the team’s biggest stars — puts their playoff hopes in serious doubt.
It’s still early and the issues are fixable, but the team has to get on the same page. Dallas won’t have long to work on things before its next game, as it has a quick turnaround to face the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football in Week 4.
