Micah Parsons Has Strong Response to DeMarcus Lawrence's Harsh Criticism

Micah Parsons clapped back at criticism he received from former Dallas Cowboys teammate DeMarcus Lawrence after the latter joined the Seattle Seahawks in free agency.

During a conversation with Clarence Hill of All City DLLS, the star linebacker opened up on his online spat with Lawrence. It all started when Lawrence claimed he would never win a Super Bowl with the Cowboys, raising eyebrows around the franchise.

Parsons considered it "ridiculous" that somebody questioned his commitment to the team after Lawrence said he shouldn't have left Dallas if Parsons didn't waste so much time tweeting and focused on getting better.

“I think it’s ridiculous,” Parsons said. “You watch the tape. There’s no question I’m locked in. I’m giving my actual best effort out there on the field, which I think that’s all that matters.

"I have an obligation to be the leader of my family, to take care of my family, and that’s to provide for them. I keep the main thing, the main thing. But I like off-field adventures, too."

Parsons admitted that going on X/Twitter to share his thoughts on anything is his way to cope with stuff happening on and off the field. However, this approach has rubbed some people off.

It's been 30 years since the Cowboys last won a Super Bowl and many fans and some players like Lawrence have had enough of that situation. After a 7-10 record in 2024, they are entering a new era under Brian Schottenheimer, who was promoted from offensive coordinator to head coach.

Parsons and Co. have something to prove this season, especially after divisional rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles, won Super Bowl LIX.
