‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ is set to make a return to the ring with a potentially sensational showdown against the YouTuber turned boxer on November 15. Tyson’s recent health scare had previously pushed the fight from its initial date. As the preparations for the fight continue, the boxing community and fans have expressed their concerns about the boxing legend’s health. And now, Tyson’s new admission might just add to their worries.

In a recent interview with USA Today, the champ revealed that he has faced a few mobility issues while preparing for the fight. “It’s hard to walk right now. But two months from now, I’m going to be perfect. The fight is won in the gym,” he said. Tyson had suffered an ulcer flare-up while aboard a plane which had postponed the fight from its initial date of July 20. With the revised fight date quickly approaching, he mentioned he was ready to do all it took to help him on fight night. “I’m going to enjoy my time here tonight with all my childhood friends, and the hell with Jake Paul,” he said.

“I Want To Expose Myself To Risk”

Tyson’s admirers continue to be worried about the potential risks that he was exposing himself to by choosing to fight Paul at the age of 58. Meanwhile, critics believe that he is in it for the bag. However, he dismissed both notions by revealing that he truly is a different breed. “I could be waiting on a check every day from cannabis. That’s bullsh*t for me. I’m a man; I want to go out there, and I want to expose myself to risk,” he said while talking at the Cage Wars MMA event. Tyson further mentioned that he is fighting to see who he really is and to find out what he’s “really made out of.”

“I want to perform in front of the world. To me, that’s all I ever knew how to do since I was 14. This fight is not going to change my life financially enough. This is just what I want to do,” he said.
