Initially scheduled for July, the bout had to be postponed after Tyson suffered a health scare in May, raising questions about whether he should return to the ring at all.
Fans have been particularly worried given Tyson's age and recent health issues. Many expected Texas Licensing Regulators to keep a close eye on the boxing legend in the lead-up to the fight.

However, World Boxing News reports that the official medical check on Tyson will take place just 24 hours before the event, leaving the door open for a last-minute cancellation if any serious concerns arise. Should the regulators deem him unfit, the fight could be downgraded to an exhibition or even scrapped altogether.
Despite the concerns, Tyson has remained optimistic. He believes he's ready to face Paul and has reassured fans that his preparation is on track.
This confidence comes despite a medical emergency earlier in the year during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles, where Tyson became dizzy and needed medical attention from paramedics upon landing.
The medical incident, which happened two months before the original fight date, highlighted the risks involved in Tyson's return to boxing.
Nevertheless, the former heavyweight champion has thrown himself into training, even abstaining from marijuana-banned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation-and cutting out sex as part of his strict regimen to maximize his performance on fight night.
