Mike Tyson's interview on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' was, uh, interesting to say the least

Like it or not, we're less than two months away from 58-year-old Mike Tyson stepping in the ring to fight Jake Paul, who isn't even half his age at 27.

Mike Tyson's interview on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' was, uh, interesting to say the least

This after the fight was already scrapped once before because of Tyson's health scare on a plane, and after Tyson recently admitted "it's hard to walk right now," and after everyone from Dana White to Joe Rogan to Eddie Hearn publicly expressed they wish he wouldn't do this.

But alas, we're still on course for Paul vs. Tyson to happen Nov. 15 on Netflix from Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

To promote the fight, Tyson appeared Monday night on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." And, well, if you were skeptical about him fighting before, the interview couldn't have put you at ease once Tyson and Kimmel started talking about his training.

When Kimmel asked Tyson if he's training hard, Tyson said, "I'm training extremely hard, yeah." Kimmel asked how many hours a day, and Tyson said he starts at 11 a.m. and "might leave the gym at 5," which includes one hour of massage.

Then came Kimmel's inquiry about whether or not Tyson, who's become just as well known for his involvement in the cannabis industry during his later years, smokes marijuana while he trains.

Tyson: "Not really."

Kimmel: "Will you be high when you fight Jake Paul?"

Tyson: "I'm gonna be so high off life, yeah." (audience laughs)

Kimmel: "Will you be high on marijuana, as well?"

Tyson: "That's a possibility, too."

Well, that could be problematic for two reasons. The first is that marijuana is on the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation's list of banned substances. The second: Do we really want to see a stoned Mike Tyson against Jake Paul?
