Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James shocked the basketball world right before Sunday's highly anticipated NBA All-Star Game. This is after the NBA's all-time leading scorer announced before tip-off that he would not be taking part in the game due to multiple injuries.
James faced some backlash for his sudden decision, with critics claiming that he should have made the announcement earlier to give the NBA ample time to find his replacement.
Instead, Shaq's OGs ended up one player short in the All-Star Game, which ultimately, didn't really matter as ASG MVP Steph Curry led Team Shaq to the championship in front of a capacity Chase Center crowd.
On Monday, James took to Instagram to share a new video of what he has been up to since his abrupt change of heart in the All-Star Game. As it turns out, the Lakers superstar has been busy working out, while also spending some much-needed quality time with his daughter Zhuri.
It was issues with his left foot and ankle that kept LeBron out of what would have been his 21st consecutive start in the NBA All-Star Game. These injuries have had James listed consistently in the Lakers' injury report leading up to All-Star Weekend, but he has missed just one game since the beginning of January.
The Lakers are back in action on Wednesday against the Charlotte Hornets, and it currently remains to be seen if James will be able to suit up for that one.
