With less than four months until the kickoff of the 2025 NFL season, the NFL awards odds are pretty set in stone until the start of the year, barring unforeseen injuries.
The Lions are full of stars, so it's no surprise that they are set up to be in the running for nearly every award possible this season. While the Super Bowl is the only award Lions fans care about, it is still good to see your players getting the recognition they deserve.
Here's the best odds of Lions winning awards in 2025:
Where the Lions stand in the 2025 award races
Most Valuable Player
The Lions were in the running for the NFL's most prestigious award last season, but came up just short. Jared Goff, who finished fifth in MVP voting in 2024, is in the running again this year, sitting at +2500 on Bet365. This puts Goff at tenth in odds to win the MVP.
A couple of other Lions find themselves as long shots for this award as well. Jahmyr Gibbs sits at +8000 on DraftKings, while Amon-Ra St. Brown finds himself at +25000 on the same sportsbook.
The only Lions defensive player with any notable odds on this list is Aidan Hutchinson, who is +20000 on DraftKings.
Offensive Player of the Year
Many of the same Lions find themselves on this list for offensive player of the year, with significantly better odds.
Jahmyr Gibbs finds himself as the third-highest favorite to win OPOY at +1000 on BetMGM. Gibbs led the league in total touchdowns in 2024, leading oddsmakers to believe that he will progress even more in his third season.

Not too far down the list is Amon Ra St. Brown, who finished top five in receptions, yards, and touchdowns in 2024. The receiver is going into his fifth season at +2000 to win OPOY, according to BetMGM, the tenth-best odds on the sportsbook.
The long-shots for this award go to Jameson Williams at +10000 on BetMGM and Sam LaPorta at +15000 on the Caesars Sportsbook.
Defensive Player of the Year
The first award where the Lions have the favorite is here at DPOY. Aidan Hutchinson, coming off a broken tibia and fibula, is the favorite for this award, at +650 on DraftKings. Hutchinson led the league in sacks and pressures before his injury and was on pace for a historic season.
After Hutchinson, there are not many Lions in the running for DPOY, outside of last year's interception leader Kerby Joseph, who sits at +4500 on Caesars Sportsbook.
Safety Brian Branch finds himself just behind Joseph at +6600 on BetMGM.
Offensive Rookie of the Year
The Lions have an extremely low chance of coming out with a winner in this category. Only two of the Lions have odds on any sportsbook for this award: Isaac TeSlaa and Tate Ratledge.
TeSlaa's odds are only available on BetMGM at +15000, and Ratledge's odds are only available on Caesars Sportsbook at +50000.
Defensive Rookie of the Year
With the Lions only taking three defensive players in the NFL Draft, there are not a ton of opportunities for the Lions to win this award.
The Lions' first-round pick, Tyleik Williams, is the only Lion with odds in any sports book for DROY. He sits at +4000 to win the award, the 14th-best odds to win the award on Caesars Sportsbook.
Coach of the Year
After finishing second and third in the past two seasons, Dan Campbell looks to right the wrongs of the voting committee and win COTY in 2025.
Unfortunately, many coaches have better odds than Campbell, including former Lions OC Ben Johnson, who is the favorite at +550 on DraftKings.
Campbell sits behind Johnson, Vrabel, Payton, Jim Harbaugh, Carroll, Canales, and Coen with the 8th-best odds at +1800 to win the Coach of the Year on DraftKings.
For what it's worth, Campbell likely doesn't care about this award, as his team sits above all of those teams in one category: Super Bowl Odds. Campbell's Lions are +850 to win the big game on Bet365, the 5th-best odds at the Lombardi.
