The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears have one of the longest running rivalries in all of sports, let alone the NFL. While the Bears dominated the Packers for a long time, especially in the 1970s and 1980s, the last three decades have seen Green Bay take the upper hand in their annual matchups.
Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre helped turn the tide of the rivalry in the Packers’ favor, and Aaron Rodgers absolutely dominated Chicago during his 15-year tenure as the starting quarterback in Green Bay.
Packers head coach Matt LaFleur started his tenure in Green Bay with nine consecutive victories over the hated Bears, not dropping a game against them until Week 18 last season.
And it was a game that Chicago quarterback Caleb Williams has not stopped talking about this offseason.
Chicago Bears Quarterback Caleb Williams Is Still Proud of Beating the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field

When the Packers and Bears met in Week 18, Green Bay had already secured a spot in the NFC Playoffs with an 11-5 record while Chicago was 4-12 and well out of the postseason race.
Despite the disparity of record, though, the two teams always play each other tough. It was a hard-fought game that, unfortunately, saw Packers wide receiver Christian Watson go down with a torn ACL. Starting quarterback Jordan Love, who had battled injuries all season long, also hurt his elbow during the game, temporarily losing feeling in his arm.
And so, Coach LaFleur decided to pull his key starters and allowed the team’s backups to finish the game. Even so, Chicago needed a fluke trick play on special teams in order to secure the win, their first against the Packers since 2018.
And the young Bears quarterback has not stopped bragging about it. Earlier this offseason, he boasted that he is 1-0 at Lambeau and that the Packers “suck.”
Green Bay Packers Left Tackle Rasheed Walker Claps Back at Caleb Williams

Recently, Packers left tackle Rasheed Walker was asked about Williams’ comments about the Packers and how he is undefeated in Green Bay. But while Chicago fans and players are ones to talk loudly during the offseason, Walker decided to take a more subdued approach.
“They got lucky. We made the Playoffs. We’re going to see them again this year, and we’re going to remember he said that,” Walker said.
He did not say much, but his message his clear: Williams is going to have to have the game of his life at Lambeau Field in 2025 if he wants to keep that record perfect.
