Patriots reportedly reach rookie deal with second-rounder TreVeyon Henderson

The last unsigned selection from the 2025 New England Patriots draft class has reached the books.

TreVeyon Henderson signs 4-year rookie contract with Patriots

The organization agreed to terms with running back TreVeyon Henderson on Friday, as reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter and KPRC 2’s Aaron Wilson. The No. 38 overall pick moves forward with a four-year, fully-guaranteed contract.

The seal on selections from the second round began to break over the course of the week, long after the Houston Texans set a new precedent with wide receiver Jayden Higgins in May. And from Thursday through Friday, 10 of whom had their deals processed on the NFL transaction wire.

Now arrives Henderson’s pact, which is worth $11.143 million, carries a $4.74 million signing bonus and gets underway with a cap charge of $2.03 million in 2025.

Henderson, 22, started 38 of his 47 games at Ohio State. The former Buckeyes captain and reigning national champion finished his run having totaled 4,614 scrimmage yards and 48 touchdowns across 667 touches. Along the way came an average of 6.37 yards per rushing attempt to go with 77 catches for 853 yards.

The Patriots signed 10 draft picks before the calendar turned to July, leaving one remaining.

The process began during rookie minicamp with wide receiver Kyle Williams, center Jared Wilson, defensive tackle Joshua Farmer, outside linebacker Bradyn Swinson, kicker Andy Borregales, offensive tackle Marcus Bryant, long snapper Julian Ashby and cornerback Kobee Minor. It continued during organized team activities with blindside bookend and No. 4 overall pick Will Campbell’s $43.66 million contract. And after mandatory minicamp wrapped up, so did safety Craig Woodson’s deal.
