Pascal’s career shows a trend of his films earning more in the international box office than domestic. The Great Wall, for example, made only $45 million in the domestic box office while making $335 million in the global box office. Kingsman: The Golden Circle, where he plays the cowboy assassin named Whiskey, continues this trend, earning $100 million domestically and $310 million internationally. Finally, 2020’s Wonder Woman 1984 made $46 million in the States while earning $119 overseas.

Pascal will pass a global box office draw of $1 billion shortly, as he has major roles in movies with high box office potential. This year, he’ll be starring in Ridley Scott’s sequel Gladiator 2. Next year, he’ll appear in the MCU’s highly anticipated Fantastic Four: First Steps, alongside Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Mister Fantastic. He’ll then reprise his role as Din Djarin in Star Wars The Mandalorian and Grogu. With roles in two of the industry’s most commercially successful franchises, the MCU and Star Wars, his next milestone of reaching $1 billion is a certainty.

Our Take On Pascal’s Milestone

The Actor Has Become A Star In Recent Years

Oberyn Martell is one of my favorite characters in the Game of Thrones series, as Pascal played the charismatic and reckless character’s key traits perfectly, standing out in every scene. It’s pleasing that he's found further success not only in television but also film. The choices he’s making for his career are impressive, choosing roles that show the range of his talent. His most appealing role besides Oberyn may be his broody turn as Joel in The Last of Us. His recent role in The Wild Robot is another success, as Fink proved to be a layered and complex character.
