Dorit Kemsley and her estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, might be facing a potential foreclosure.
Six months after the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple announced their separation, Dorit, 48, and PK, 57, have been hit with an online rumor that suggests their home in Encino, California, which they purchased in August 2019 for $6.5 million, is “allegedly” in “pre-foreclosure.”
In a screenshot taken of a Zillow listing, allegedly of Dorit and PK’s property and reshared by Bravo and Cocktails on Instagram, the six-bedroom, seven-bathroom home, estimated to be worth $7,654,600, is said to be in “pre-foreclosure.”
As RHOBH fans will recall, Dorit and PK listed the home for sale in September 2020 for $9.5 million, but they dropped the price by $1.5 million the following month. Then, after taking the home off the market that December, they put it back on the market in April 2021 with a price tag of $7.9 million.
Although the RHOBH stars were unable to sell the home, an IG user with knowledge about real estate said that Zillow’s “pre-foreclosure” listing may not be accurate.
“From a broker POV, Zillow ‘pre-foreclosure’ is wildly inaccurate and doesn’t mean much,” the person explained to Bravo and Cocktails. “It could be down to one late or missed payment. Also if they are attempting a short sale or certain refinancing, you have to miss X number of payments before the bank will negotiate with you. Happens a lot during divorces. No idea about their situation but just in general it’s not the most reliable.”
As RHOBH fans will recall, Dorit was held at gunpoint and robbed in this home as her two kids, Jagger, 10, and Phoenix, 8, slept in a nearby room in October 2021. At the time, PK was out of the country in London.
While Dorit and PK have yet to confirm or deny the potentially impending foreclosure of their home, fans are expected to learn more about their relationship status when the new season of RHOBH begins airing. Although a split was assumed, Dorit and PK fueled rumors of a potential reconciliation earlier this year when they deleted their separation announcement, and they recently celebrated Halloween as a family.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 premieres next Tuesday, November 19, at 8/7c on Bravo.
