Boz Saint John hinted Dorit Kemsley wasn’t “ready to hear” Erika Jayne’s advice about a potential divorce with PK, and she suggested that Kyle Richards views her friendship with Dorit like a “competition.” She also expressed hope that Dorit and Kyle’s marriages can be “redeem[ed].”
In the current season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, both Kyle and Dorit are feuding amid their respective breakups. Kyle has suggested that Boz chose to believe Dorit, with whom she has a closer friendship.
In a recent episode, Dorit claimed PK sent an email allegedly threatening to divorce her if she didn’t meet his demands. Erika warned Dorit to view PK as an “adversary” so she could protect herself against him.
On the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, Boz addressed Dorit’s “scary” situation.
“If you have been … making up scenarios in your head for both the positive and the negative, but then you realize that, ‘Oh shoot, this is actually going to become real and I’m going to have to do something I don’t want to do and I’m being pushed in a direction … I’m not ready to go into,’ it is a very scary thing,” she said.
Boz thinks it would be “helpful” for both Dorit and Kyle to “talk about” what’s going on.
“That way your friends … can also be supportive, can help [and] give you advice,” she went on. “Because I don’t know that Dorit was ready to hear what Erika had to say, but she needed to hear what Erika had to say.”
She was then asked about Kyle’s suggestion that Boz chose to take Dorit’s side.
“Instead of it being a competition about who … I’m friends with, it’s like, look, if you want me to be your friend, I can be your friend. But that means you gotta tell me what’s going on,” she said. “It’s that I don’t know any way to help you because you haven’t told me anything.”
Boz also explained that she’s a “fierce businesswoman” and a “girls girl,” but she’s also a “lover of love.”
“So if there’s any way to redeem the marriages of PK and Dorit, and even Kyle and Mo, I would want that,” she said. “I want everyone to be in that beautiful area and beautiful spirit [of love].”
