Erika Jayne was asked about the drama surrounding Kyle Richards‘ messages to Paul “PK” Kemsley on Tuesday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
After Kyle, 55, and Dorit Kemsley, 48, nearly came to blows on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Erika, 53, shared her thoughts on Kyle and PK’s communication, accused Sutton Stracke, 53, and Garcelle Beauvais, 58, of sucking up to Kathy Hilton, 65, and targeted former co-star Kathryn Edwards, 60, as she also discussed her communication with Thomas Girardi, 85, and Denise Richards, 53.
“It’s innocent but it is inappropriate,” Erika said of Kyle and PK’s DMs on the January 7 episode of WWHL. “Once you separate — in my opinion; this is just me — even though I know [memes and gifs were] all that they were doing, for Erika, there’s no good that can come from communicating … It just doesn’t feel good. It just doesn’t feel right. As innocent as it is, it just doesn’t feel right.”
According to Erika, she agrees with Dorit that Kyle would feel much differently about the issue if it was she and Kyle’s estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, 54, who were exchanging messages.
“No one would feel good in that situation,” she noted.
Weeks after Sutton held a sisterhood ceremony in hopes of bringing the cast together amid their feuds, Erika agreed with a fan who suggested the idea was hypocritical coming from someone who went after Kyle, Dorit, and herself when they were at their lowest.
“I don’t believe in [Sutton’s] sisterhood thing at all and that comes up later on,” she teased.
Looking back at the Viper Room drama between Kyle and Dorit, Erika admitted she was shocked by how heated things got between her castmates.
“I don’t know if you can see it, but it’s the first time I’ve ever seen two people lunge at each other. Not lunge. Let me not be dramatic, but move toward each other on our show,” she revealed.
She was then asked a series of rapid-fire questions about her castmates, starting with who was “most guilty of sucking up to Kathy.”
“Sutton Stracke, followed closely by Garcelle,” she replied.
Then, after saying she wouldn’t take decorating tips from Jennifer Tilly, 66, who has “the scary doll,” and shading Kathryn as the “most forgettable” of her former co-stars, Erika named herself as the most and least favorite cast member of viewers.
Moving on to the ongoing drama between Kyle and Dorit, Erika admitted she was “not shocked” that the audience was siding with Dorit and confirmed she tried not to pick a side.
“I’m friends with both of them until I can’t be. I knew at some point I would get it so I tried to navigate it as best as possible and tried to stay as neutral as possible,” she explained.
Also on the live broadcast, after Erika said she was Team Dorit in her feud with Sutton and agreed her return to Broadway was a triumph, she confirmed she has not spoken to Vanderpump Rules alum Ariana Madix, 39, who appeared as Roxie Hart in Chicago earlier this year.
“I do not [know her]. We just haven’t met,” she revealed.
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, after revealing she is not in touch with Tom, she commented on his mental state, explaining that her estranged spouse‘s status is a “sad ending.”
“It’s just awful. He was found competent — found guilty. And then I guess he’s in a place where they asses what they do for sentencing. That’s how I understand it,” she explained. “It’s so out of my hands and beyond my control at this point and it’s just sad all the way around. It’s a rough ending.”
Then, when a fan asked when she last spoke to Denise, Erika and Andy Cohen, 56, seemed to tease her potentially upcoming cameo.
“I may or may not have seen Denise Richards recently,” Erika shared.
“And you may or may not be seeing it soon,” Andy added.
Erika was also asked about Garcelle shading her run on Broadway by mentioning she hadn’t been asked back a few seasons ago.
“I thought, ‘Okay.’ I mean, a lot of things were said,” she shared. “So it’s okay.”
