Russell Wilson Predicted to Sign With Struggling AFC Team

In his first season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Russell Wilson started 11 games, going 6-5 and completing 214-of-336 passes for 2,482 yards, 16 touchdowns, five interceptions, and a 95.6 passer rating.

However, it may have also been his only year with them, as he's yet to sign an extension with Pittsburgh and is set to hit free agency, with players open to finding sign with new teams on March 12

In an article written by Ben Rolfe of Pro Football & Sports Network, he predicts that Wilson will end up with the Tennessee Titans, who went 3-14 in 2024 and have not had a winning season since 2021.

"Wilson would bring some stability to the quarterback room and is not a quarterback who will upset the fanbase every week with bad throws," he wrote. "Wilson will likely be looking for something more permanent, so this might be a deal that takes a while to develop, but this move could make sense for both sides in 2025."

It's a move that wouldn't necessarily stop the Titans from potentially selecting a quarterback with the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, as Miami's Cam Ward or Colorado's Shedeur Sanders will both be available.

That means Wilson could end up filling a mentor role, which would help with development in the scenario they did draft either.

If the Titans did decide to go this route, though, it wouldn't be very cheap, as Spotrac predicts Wilson to sign a two-year $77 million deal.
