The free event was for children from ages 6 to 15.
On Saturday, April 19, 2025, New Orleans Saints running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire hosted the Glyde Youth Football Camp at the Elite Training Academy in his hometown of Baton Rouge, LA.
Over 250 children from the ages of 6 to 15 attended the free event at which Edwards-Helaire helped the young athletes to develop their skills and improve their technique.
The Louisiana native attended LSU and won the 2020 National Championship with the Tigers. He was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the first round (32nd overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft and is a two-time Super Bowl Champion (2022 and 2023)
Edwards-Helaire was signed to the Saints practice squad in December 2024. He later re-signed a one-year deal with the team in February.
