Teddi Mellencamp and Edwin Arroyave’s home was targeted by attempted burglars, Page Six can confirm.
“Thankfully, their security system worked, the police got there quickly and the perpetrators ran away,” an insider told us Tuesday.
Two people attempted to enter the premises and access the estranged couple’s Los Angeles residence on Monday night while they were home, TMZ was first to report.
However, the home’s security system immediately signaled that intruders were present.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum and Arroyave, the founder and CEO of Skyline Security, then quickly alerted authorities.
Though officers responded immediately, the suspects still managed to flee the property.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the suspects had burglarized Mellencamp and Arroyave’s neighbors’ house just before.
Reps for the pair did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Mellencamp, 44, is currently battling stage 4 cancer after her skin cancer metastasized to her brain.
In November 2024, the former Bravolebrity filed for divorce from Arroyave, with whom she shares three children: daughter Slate, 12, son Cruz, 10, and daughter Dove, 5.
Arroyave, 48, is also dad to a teenage daughter named Isabella.
At the time, Page Six reported that Mellencamp’s affair with her then-married horse trainer led to the split.
Despite their separation, a supportive Arroyave has remained by Mellencamp’s side throughout her treatment.
While she has dated at least one person since filing for divorce, the current status of Arroyave’s love life is unclear.
