The Green Bay Packers are in action on Sunday as they host the San Francisco 49ers at Lambeau Field. The Packers are looking for another win after securing victories in four out of their last five games, including a hard-fought 20-19 rivalry win against the Chicago Bears in Week 11.
Fox Sports provided coverage for Sunday's contest, which means that the great Tom Brady called the game alongside Kevin Burkhardt.
One particular sequence just before halftime drew a candid reaction from the seven-time Super Bowl champion after seeing Packers wide receiver Christian Watson waste a tremendous pass from quarterback Jordan Love -- one that would have likely led to a Green Bay touchdown.
"You can not throw a ball better than that," Brady said. "... That is not the highest degree of difficulty catch for [Watson's] caliber of talent that he has had."
Brady has seen his fair share of wasted passes throughout his legendary career as an NFL quarterback, and you can feel the frustration in his reaction to what he thought was an outstanding pass by the Packers QB. "Oh man, what a throw by Love," Brady said.
Watson was in the clear, too, and he likely would have scored a touchdown had he not fumbled that pass. That potentially would have given the Packers a 24-7 lead at the break.
Love hit the mark with his pass here, and it earned the praise of the greatest QB to ever do it. The same cannot be said about Watson's wasted catch, though.
