The Welsh-born sports star is yet to play alongside Taylor Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce but has been praised by the US sport star for his skill

Travis Kelce's teammate Louis Rees-Zammit was spotted at Taylor Swift's Eras tour in Cardiff on Tuesday evening. The Welsh sportsman who is currently back home in the Vale of Glamorgan attended the gig with his brother.

Rees-Zammit made the move to the US earlier this year after he quit rugby in the hopes of making the dream of playing American football come true. The 23-year-old, who was already popular in Wales, hit the ground running when he signed for the Kansas City Chiefs.

He is currently being put through his paces in training in the hope he will make their active roster for the new season. Despite not having played a game for the Chiefs' yet, Rees-Zammit has proved popular with his teammates, including Taylor's boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

Rees-Zammit was seen enjoying the show at Taylor's concert on Tuesday night in Cardiff, taking a break from his training. An image was shared to his social media where he and his brother are both wearing merchandise t-shirts from the gig, with a caption that said: "Swifties."

He also shared a video to his Instagram story, which showed Taylor performing the song Love Story.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been in a whirlwind romance since last year and she has been seen cheering on the sidelines of many Chiefs' games. While Rees-Zammit has yet to play in a game alongside Kelce, he has received much praise from the US sports star.

Speaking on his podcast with his brother Jason, Kelce said that Rees-Zammit is a naturally gifted athlete and a "smart player". He also issued some words of warning to the rookie, claiming he is in for a "tough few months" this summer. Discussing the ex-Gloucester man's move, the tight end said he was relishing playing with the "suave" and "ballsy" Welshman but warned that he will be competing against those who have played the sport since childhood.
