Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa spoke with the South Florida media following today’s practice in Miami Gardens. With the team’s three preseason games in the books, Miami’s signal-caller was asked which players on each side of the ball improved the most during the Dolphins’ offseason training program. On offense, Tagovailoa named injured wide receiver River Cracraft.

On defense, Miami’s first round selection in the 2024 NFL Draft — defensive lineman Chop Robinson — was the quarterback’s selection.

The Penn State University product got an extensive look this offseason with Dolphins’ starting EDGE rushers Bradley Chubb and Jaelan Phillips working their way back from injuries — and apparently, the young man not only impressed Miami’s coaches, but their highest paid player as well.

I’ll be curious to see how he helps us win games this year.

Miami Dolphins media member, Travis Wingfield, also noted that according to Tagovailoa, Robinson has “earned the respect of the vets in the locker room.

The Dolphins changed defensive coordinators this offseason after parting ways with Vic Fangio and hiring Anthony Weaver from the Baltimore Ravens. Robinson will look to contribute to what is supposed to be a potent pass rushing unit this season. The sooner his contributions are felt, the better the Dolphins will be.
