Viral photo of Aaron Glenn just chillin' on Detroit Lions sideline is epic

Not only is Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn really good at calling a defense, he's also a gold mine for creating memorable photos. He proved that once again during the Lions' Week 12 win over the Indianapolis Colts.

During the Lions' Week 9 win over the Green Bay Packers, a meme was born when Glenn was spotted on the sideline with his glasses completely covered with rain. But Glenn was unbothered by his hindered sight and remained locked-in to running the Lions' defense.

The photo instantly went viral, and the memes were endless. Since then, fans have even mimicked the now-viral photo, something Glenn got a kick out of:

"I think it’s actually funny to be able to see that, so I got a kick out of that. It was good," he said, per Will Burchfield of 97.1 The Ticket.

Glenn was back at it again in Week 12, when he was spotted relaxing on the bench on multiple occasions while his defense, which took care of business against the Colts, was off the field.

The zoomed out shot was even better.

Glenn's defense had yet another impressive performance on Sunday, with Detroit's unit giving up just a pair of field goals and zero points in the second half. Making the showing — and the showing overall this season —  even more impressive is the fact that the Lions have been absolutely ravaged by injuries on defense.

It's funny to think that there were a lot of people ready to run Glenn out of town in recent years after Detroit's defenses were routinely disappointing. However, it turns out talent was the real issue, not Glenn himself.

The sad thing is, the days of Glenn creating these memorable photos on the Lions' sideline may be numbered, as he is well on his way to earning a head-coaching role in 2025.

Lions fans may not have Glenn beyond this season, but they will always have the memories.
