The Detroit Lions won a thriller in Motown on Thursday as they held off a late charge by Caleb Williams, D'Andre Swift and the Bears en route to a 23-20 win.
During the game, much of the announcers' focus centered around the myriad injuries the Lions suffered, particularly on the defensive side of the football, as they struggled to keep the Bears at bay during a fourth quarter in which they were outscored 13-0.
The Lions held down the fort while losing Rodriguez to a knee injury. Afterward, coach Dan Campbell revealed that the injury to the former Oklahoma State Cowboy, nicknamed 'Rodrigo,' was the most concerning of all heading into this upcoming Thursday's game against the Green Bay Packers.
It hasn't been all bad news for Rodriguez lately as his wife Kennedy has been busy preparing for the birth of the couple's child.
She posed for a sideline photo along with Lions offensive tackle Penei Sewell's wife Isabelle, combining for a photo-op for the ages on the sidelines of Detroit's classic Thanksgiving Day game.
"Bumpin,' Rodriguez's wife, who goes by the Instagram handle KENNEDY FRAZER, wrote as a caption while tagging Sewell.
Rodriguez had two solo tackles, three total, on the afternoon while Sewell was given the spotlight treatment for his crushing downfield blocks against the Bears' defensive line.
