Courtland Sutton is 30 years old and will be a free agent following the 2025 season. With rumors floating around about whether Sutton will re-sign or not, the Broncos front office was set to meet with Sutton's agent at the NFL Scouting Combine.
Broncos general manager George Paton provided an encouraging update about the potential of re-signing Sutton.
According to Zac Stevens of DNVR Broncos, Paton said, "We want him here." when discussing Sutton signing an extension.
Sutton is one of the longest-tenured Broncos, and with Nix on a rookie contract, keeping Sutton is possible. After Sutton signed a revised contract in July of 2024, the Broncos receiver is looking for another payday.
Sutton is coming off an impressive 2024 season with Nix, where he tallied 1,081 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. Keeping him will allow for continuity for Nix as he heads into his sophomore season.
