When Noah Brown was brought into the Washington Commanders franchise, he knew he was behind the eight-ball when it came to learning the offensive playbook.
It didn't seem to help his case that second-overall rookie Jayden Daniels didn't have an offseason with him, either. Despite the concerns, Brown has had a nice start to the 2024 season with Washington.
In the first two games of the year, Brown has recorded three catches for 56 yards - all in the team's 21-18 win over the Giants last week.
As he gets more comfortable, an increase in snaps could be on the horizon with another Ohio State product.
"I think just what he's proven in this league, be able to go out there and create separation, make plays," Daniels said. "Obviously, him and [WR] Terry [McLaurin] both came from Ohio State, so they have a lineage of receivers. I still think LSU creates the best receivers [laugh], but not trying to be biased but they're just very hard workers, man. You can just tell with Noah how he approaches practice. He's a pro's pro and you see the same thing from Terry and that trickles down to the rest of the room."
Washington will need a more efficient offense moving forward if they want to remain competitive in an open NFC East race.
To start, it appears Brown is ready to do whatever is needed to help.
