The Los Angeles Dodgers have started off the 2025 season on fire as they are currently one of the best teams in the MLB.
Los Angeles currently holds an 11-5 record although they have lost five of their last 10 games and are coming off a historic loss to the Chicago Cubs on Saturday night at home.
Because of this, the defending World Series champions find themselves sitting third in the National League West standings behind both the San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants.
Of course, the Dodgers spent a ton of money in the last two offseasons to create one of the most stacked rosters the MLB has seen in quite some time.
From defending NL MVP Shohei Ohtani to Freddie Freeman to Mookie Betts, the Dodgers have a ton of star power to chase another ring this season and they could reportedly be close to adding another star outfielder.
According to USA Today's Bob Nightengale, the Dodgers have discussed a trade that would see them land Luis Robert Jr. from the Chicago White Sox in exchange for James Outman and one of their top prospects.

Of course, the White Sox may be willing to move on from Robert Jr. this season with them rebuilding, which would allow them to add more prospects to their farm system.
While it would be an interesting move for the White Sox, it would be even better for the Dodgers as they would then add another star player to their outfield.
Robert Jr. has not had the best start to the season as he is hitting just .163 with one home run and four RBI, but a change of scenery, especially to a much better team, could help him break out of his slump.
While the two sides have not agreed on a deal yet, expect Los Angeles to try everything they can to land Robert Jr. to upgrade their outfield as they chase their second consecutive World Series.
