Teddi Mellencamp endured an awkward run-in with the ex-wife of Simon Schroeder, the horse trainer she’s accused of having an affair with, on Thursday.

As new details about Simon’s marriage to Karli Postel were shared and Simon posted an “I love you” message on his Instagram Story in her honor, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 43, who confirmed plans to divorce her husband, Edwin Arroyave, 47, earlier this month, attended the same equestrian event as Karli.

In photos shared by Daily Mail, Teddi was seen in the seats at the Las Vegas National Horse Show at South Point Arena and Equestrian Center with a tan hat and matching sherpa jacket. As the outlet explained, she was in attendance to support her 12-year-old daughter Slate, who, along with Karli, was competing in the event. 

According to the report, Teddi looked strained as she looked on and Karli, who was wearing what appeared to be her wedding ring, looked furious just yards away.

The outlet went on to share that after Simon and Karli wed in November 2019, Karli filed to have the marriage deemed invalid due to a “prior existing marriage or domestic partnership” and a judgement was granted in February. However, the couple remained together and sometime this past spring, Karli gave birth to their second child — while Simon was in Florida with Teddi.

In another report from Daily Mail, it was revealed that Simon had posted a “groveling message to Karli” on his Instagram Story on Thursday, proclaiming his love for her after his alleged romance with Teddi was exposed.

“I love you Karli,” he wrote, tagging Karli in the post, which was re-shared on Reddit.

After the image hit Reddit, a number of Real Housewives fans weighed in.

“If men have one thing it’s pure audacity,” one person wrote.

“Typical,” another agreed. “He’s a day late and a dollar short.”

A third wrote, “Dear Karli, You can do better. Warmest Regards, Everyone.”

Another person suggested, “Maybe he should have been with his wife while she was in labor. Instead he was in Florida with Teddi.”

While appearing on her podcast on Thursday, Teddi refused to “confirm or deny” her reported relationship with Simon.

“There’s multiple sides to every story. I’m not going to confirm or deny anything, but there’s many people involved, and I once again say the same statement I said before: The kids, they are the priority,” she explained, via Vanderpod Recaps on Instagram. “And so for the time being that’s all I’m going to discuss on this.”
