Bregman fell a triple shy of the cycle and had his seventh two-homer game. Kameron Misner nearly robbed him of the second one, but the ball fell out of the rookie's glove and over the right-center fence.
The Red Sox got three hits in the first off Ryan Pepiot (1-2), one more than they had in six innings against Shane Baz in a 16-1 loss Monday.
Boston starter Walker Buehler (2-1) allowed 3 hits and 2 runs over 5 innings with 3 strikeouts and 3 walks. Aroldis Chapman fanned Brandon Lowe for his fourth save.
Jonathan Aranda, who entered leading the majors with a .395 average, was 2 for 3 with a homer and an RBI for Tampa Bay.
Buehler, who hadn't walked more than one in any of his previous five starts, issued two in the fourth inning to load the bases. After Misner's sacrifice fly scored Junior Caminero, Ceddanne Rafaela's diving catch got Buehler out of the jam.
GUARDIANS 6, ORIOLES 3 Logan Allen pitched impressively into the sixth inning, and visiting Cleveland beat Baltimore for its sixth victory in seven games. Allen (1-1) allowed two hits in 5 2/3 scoreless innings.
ATHLETICS 12, WHITE SOX 3 Tyler Soderstrom hit a pair of three-run home runs, his major league-leading seventh and eighth homers of the season, and the Athletics beat host Chicago.
RANGERS 4, ANGELS 0 Tyler Mahle struck out nine over six innings, and host Texas snapped a three-game losing streak.

NATIONALS 3, PIRATES 0 James Wood led off the game with a home run and Jake Irvin pitched seven scoreless innings to lead Washington to a victory over host Pittsburgh. Irvin (1-0) allowed 3 hits, struck out 6 and walked 1 as the Nationals snapped a three-game losing streak.
PHILLIES 6, GIANTS 4 Bryce Harper and J.T. Realmuto homered while Bryson Stott and Max Kepler added two hits apiece as host Philadelphia beat San Francisco. Realmuto had two hits and two RBI to snap out of a funk in which his batting average dipped to .222.
DIAMONDBACKS 10, MARLINS 4 Corbin Carroll hit a grand slam and drove in five runs, and visiting Arizona beat Miami. Geraldo Perdomo and Josh Naylor also homered as Arizona won for the fifth time in six games. Merrill Kelly (3-1) struck out nine in six innings.

BREWERS 5, TIGERS 0 Quinn Priester and four relievers combined on a one-hitter and Rhys Hoskins broke out of his early-season slump to help host Milwaukee beat Detroit.
ASTROS 2, CARDINALS 0 Jake Meyers had three hits and drove in a run and Hunter Brown threw six shutout innings as visiting Houston beat St. Louis. Yordan Alverez hit a leadoff homer in the eighth off reliever Kyle Leahy. Brown (2-1) allowed 4 hits with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks.
REDS 8, MARINERS 4 Austin Hays drove in four runs in his season debut, and host Cincinnati beat Seattle. Hays, who signed with Cincinnati in free agency, singled in Matt McLain in the third inning. He capped the Reds' four-run fifth inning with a three-run home run to center.
BLUE JAYS 6, BRAVES 3 Alan Roden hit his first career home run, Anthony Santander also connected and host Toronto defeated Atlanta.
TWINS 6, METS 3 Ryan Jeffers and Harrison Bader had three hits apiece and Brooks Lee homered as host Minnesota defeated New York. Bailey Ober (1-1) gave up 3 earned runs on 5 hits with 5 strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings.
