Jayson Tatum makes history upon entering the 13K points club

In the midst of yet another impressive season, Tatum clinched a new individual milestone for his growing resumé of becoming a future Hall of Famer.

On Saturday against the Dallas Mavericks, Tatum reached the 13,000 mark in points upon dropping a team-high 24 marker, along with six rebounds and three assists to lead the Celtics’ 122-107 victory.

Tatum officially clinched the accomplishment when he drained a trifecta during the game’s second period.

Tatum entering the 13K club before going 27 has been highly significant. As such, he becomes the seventh player in history to clinch this threshold — joining the likes of LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady, and Wilt Chamberlain.

Jayson Tatum is poised for a bright future

At his current position, Tatum is poised to climb even higher in the all-time ladder in points. Once it’s all said and done, he might even have a considerable chance in contending LeBron James atop the leaderboard.

At age 26, Tatum has been boasting tons of awards and accolades already. From being an NBA champion, six-time All-Star, and four-time All-NBA member right now, he is slated to achieve more honors as he’s just approaching the prime stage of his career.

We can only be thrilled on what’s more to come from the Celtics star.
